McKinney Shops & A Sale

I thought I'd post again that I am having a 40% off sale at the Antique Company Mall (ACM) in McKinney Texas just in case you missed this in a previous post.  I will have this sale until the weekend of May 21st.  I will also have something exciting to share with you around this date as well.  You may have noticed this on my sidebar and I can't wait to share this with you.

Speaking of ACM Vendors, here are just a few that I was able to take pics of when we were there on Saturday.  There are really lots of great vendors in this mall and I hope if you are in McKinney you will stop by and check them out.  Let's start with Nancy of Ella Elaine's booth:

I always love all the gray, white, brown and rust colors she uses in her booth.  She really finds great things.

Yes, he's the other half of Ms. Ella.  Either she's taught him well or he's been the driving force behind finding great things, either way he too finds the most interesting finds:








This is Colorado Nancy's booth (no she doesn't have a blog, but she needs one).  I know you are probably wondering why she is called Colorado Nancy, probably because she lives part of the time in Colorado and not to confuse both Nancy's, I guess that's why she got this nickname.  Anyways, she too has a great eye:













The last stop I made in McKinney this weekend was at Chase Hall. Their entry to the shop is always so inviting:



This adobe house in the window really spoke to me:



But no I didn't buy it.  Be sure and check these places out next time in McKinney.  There are so many more places you can also shop at.  You'll need to spend a day or more here.  Happy Junkin!!

Easter at Smitten

I hope you all are having a great Easter Sunday.  It's been a nice day for me, spending it in church earlier today and then with family, eatting, and laughing...it was great! 

To continue my posts from having been in McKinney yesterday, I thought I'd show you Smitten. There seems to be a lot of change going on here.  The shop was different than the last time I was here, the checkout has moved to a different area.  I loved seeing their display windows, they always have the best things in them.  Want to look:

Saturday @ Patina Green

Visiting McKinney just wouldn't be complete without stopping in at Patina Green's. I had been seeing their awesome displays and new things they had found at Round Top on several blogs and couldn't wait to go in and see the huge victorian bird cage they had found.

Garden Finds

Whimsey's in Llano

I had seen Whimsey's Antiques featured many times on Kristi's Blog as she has a booth in this shop, so I knew that when were in Llano Tx this past weekend I had to check it out. It's funny how you might have a place imagined in your mind and when you arrive it's different than what you thought. I pictured it smaller, but it's really a nice size place to shop. There are cute vignettes in several areas and I wish I had thought to take a pic of the display in front as it was really great. It had sea shells on an vintage wooden table, but I'm sure it was the chairs that I eyed as I was about to leave that got me side tracked (that will be in another post).
