You don't have to pick up a decorating magazine or surf the internet for cool looking vignettes or antiques, just come to Texas during Antique Week in Round Top/Warrenton and you will find the most awesome dealers in all the world. They all come together for one week of selling from different parts of the United States and you can see them all within a 20 mile radius of each other.
Our first stop this morning was at the La Bahia Antique show where Meloney and Brian of the Seed Box Antiques from Missouri, are set up. I alway love how they put together their displays:
Next, we were on to the Cole's Antique Show just to see Janet of Rubbish. I really want to shop with Janet because she has such an eye for finding the coolest things. Check her out:
And, because I took ssssooooo many pictures of the Leftover's Antique Shop party, you'll have to check back for more pictures of their fabulous place. Here's just a few to make you want to drool over all their things, yes they pass out napkins as you enter so that you don't drool on the floor!! Check back for many more pictures:
Thank you so much for sharing your pictures with all of us who can't be there ourselves. I can't wait to see more pictures ...

ReplyDeleteHi Theresa,
ReplyDeleteWe were at Warrenton Saturday. I looked for you but it was pretty early when we were at Zapp Hall, and I couldn't find you. Then I was too tired later on (we walked just about the entire show) to come back and look for you again. Bummer. Next time I have to find out where you are before we go.
hello!
ReplyDeleteWow thanks so much for all the great pictures you are posting for us. Wish I would live closer. Pls keep sharing with us your big adventure. I live in MO, but will be moving to Chicago soon so that will put me farther away from this show in the future.
Can I ask you a question. I see that these wonderful dealers carry alot of chandeliers. Do you mind telling me if you know how much they run for? I am looking for a simple brass one with all the beautiful crystals. Thanks a bunch. I will keep checking back for more eye candy.

Hey Girlie - I can't wait to see what you have to offer. You always are talking about the other vendors, but I personally can't wait to shop your tent to see what fab things you found this time. Thee Bee Swanky gals are leaving in the morning and will be your way for a few days. Tomorrow we are starting with La Bahia and finishing our day at Marburger. Your stop is firt on our list on Wednesday! Can't wait to see you! Amy B.

Lovely pictures! Careful who you shop with LOL ~ you just might like the same things :). As my local auctioneer always says "there are no friends at auctions". It always makes everyone laugh when he says that . . . because your friends do usually like the same things.
ReplyDeleteHappy treasure hunting! Karen
Ohhhh, thanks so much for the pictures, they make me homesick for the show. So much great stuff out there! I can't wait to go in the fall. I hope the weather is treating you kindly.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics and post! I went to preview weekend, not all the shows are active, but still so much more than I could even look at in three days.
ReplyDeleteI also went to the Seed Box and took pictures to post on my blog! I think I saw Rubbish at Cole's, but I don't think I was in Leftover's, which town were they in? Love your blog!
