Yes, we survived this aweful storm and for this I'm so thankful. No damage to our property or family and you can't get much better than that. I'm also so thankful for all the phone calls and emails checking on us, which I couldn't read until just a few minutes ago. WE HAVE ELECTRICITY!!! I didn't realize how much I'd miss it until it was gone, but most of all I think I missed the internet the most and being able to communicate with you all. All I can say to you, my friends, is THANK YOU THANK YOU for your concern!! Words just don't express how thankful I am to have such a great group of friends out there that was concerned for us. I am so appreciative to you all for this!!!
I'm hoping that all my other Texas friends made it through this storm. We still have a lot to overcome in Texas; there's a lot of clean up to be done and gas the prices have gone up some, but this too shall pass!!
Wishing you all an awesome day!!
Let me be the first to say-Welcome back and we missed you. Your public is waiting. Debbie

ReplyDeleteYay! I am so glad the storm passed leavng you all and your home unscathed. Sorry about the loss of electricity but I bet you got a lot done without the computer around. ;D Tammy
ReplyDeleteTheresa, you were missed. I knew when you didn't post for a couple days you had probably lost power.I'm glad everyones okay and there's no big damages. Thanks for stopping by to say hi! ~Becky~
ReplyDeleteShe has power!!!! but we all knew you had power, just a diff kind - lol.
ReplyDeleteSOOOOO glad that you and yours are safe and ok. No power for a few days is nothing compaired to what some Texans are going thru. My in-laws roof was ripped off - they live in Houston. They are both docs and were "hunkering down" at the hospital with the kids in tow.
WHAT A MESS!
Can't wait to see you in Round Top!
Taddie
Hi Theresa...glad to hear you all are ok. My S-I-L in Kingwood still is without electricity but doing ok. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I need to get some lessons from you on how to do all this blog stuff! We might get to come to the big show next weekend depending on the gas situation. They are telling all of us North Texans not to go south due to gas shortage but hopefully that problem will be fixed by next week. Hope you have a great show!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs!
Patti
Hi, T, found your blog today by way of other blog, and what fun it is! We survived the storm here in Sugar Land, and just had the tree on my roof cut down today! Now only to have the damage repaired. We lost power less than 24 hours! It is a mess. We had/have plans to come to Warrenton, but now we will have to wait and see. I hope to see you there! Do you girls have any vintage dressforms for sale?
ReplyDeleteSuzanne
Thanks, Theresa, for visiting my blog, and thanks for the info that you will have dress forms. Can you tell me how much they will be, so I can plan???? Thanks, sweetie! You can email me at suzanne(at)joffrions(dot)net
ReplyDeleteSo glad you didn't suffer any damage and have everything back, up and running.
