This past weekend was the Red Barn Show and while there were some awesome dealers here we all had to deal with the aweful heat. On Friday the truck registered 111 degrees (yes I kid you not) and then on Sunday it was a bit cooler at 106! We all kiddingly said we should have had our heads examined to unload and then load it all back up in this heat, but at least the inside was air conditioned. Let's all pray the Fall shows are not this hot.
Here's such talented friends that showed up and created really great displays despite it all:

ReplyDeleteThanks to you and all those who do those shows. It is unimaginably hard when the weather doesn't cooperate.
ReplyDeleteI DID think about you and wonder about the HEAT. We had a small town sidewalk sale in Malakoff and could have fried eggs on the sidewalk. Instead Rhonda was grilling hotdogs. In 105* heat. duh. we were dying! LOL! Next Malakoff Stroll party will be in the Fall! Hope you have recovered. Hugs `
