Blog Party So Much Fun

I know that by starting the first post about the Blog Party of all that we saw at the Antique Shows  is probably jumping ahead of myself, but we had such a great time that I just couldn't wait for many posts down the road to tell you about it.  Despite the heat, rain, and only one cool day we still managed to sneak some fun into the Blog Party. My goodness how could you not have fun with the group that showed up.  The attendance far exceeded my expectations and I'm so thankful for all that showed up.  I'm sorry I didn't get to visit much with you all.

I have to tell you that I normally do not prepare things until the day of since living out of a camper sometimes makes it hard to prepare the food in advance.  As soon as we left the Leftover's Party on Saturday (which you will just have to stay tuned for that post) we headed to the store to buy the food.  Of course finding fresh Avocados for the dip is a must, no processed ones for this dip, made me go to several stores but it was so worth it.  We also had fresh fruit, the absolutely best Cheese Cake ever (thanks to Carol who lives down the road and takes orders), chips, dips (avocado, lobster, and cheese/corn dip), sandwiches and drinks were on the menu.  I'm already planning something different for the Blog Party in the Spring.  See I'm already planning, scheming and preparing for the next show, but then don't we all.

Special thanks to Lisa of LaRustique Market for her helping prepare things and to my mother and brother and Janet for bringing chips.  I was so excited that my mother, niece, and brother got to attend the party for their first time!  I also must thank Lisa's husband Tony and her for helping me unload since my husband couldn't make it then and Mel and Brian of The Seed Box for moving my trailers.  You guys are the best!!

Here are the pics of the party:

  1. Not being able to stay for the blog party is my one big regret. That, and not bringing a U-Haul! Gosh woman, the amount of work you put into Warrenton is not to be believed...setting up, selling, hosting a party...what DON'T you do???
I'll be checking back frequently to see all 959 of your Warrenton pics!
    Hugs,
    Anne

Thanks for all the hard work you put in to make it a success! I have Carol's phone # if anyone needs to order a cheesecake for the spring show. It's best to order early!

  14. How do you do it all, Theresa, it boggles my mind! SO disappointed to miss THE party of Warrenton/Round Top, but I'm planning on being there next time. It's going to take a bit of doing, but it's not like I have to fly across the ocean to be there :) p.s. Isabelle really regretted not buying something from your booth, so I'll have to bring her back too!

  15. Your blog party sound like so much fun! Wish I could have been there to meet all you lovely ladies!! Yes, two of the photos on my white Wednesday post are from Gatherings! I was about to add some links to the post when my 5 month old decided it was time to eat! So I had to finish the post later. I haven't been to Gatherings for a while. I need to go again soon. I love that place!!

  24. The fact that this is the longest post (or the one with the most words EVER posted by you) leads me to believe that I missed THE party of the season. I'll be there Springtime, no matter what.

Not to mention that you've got photos of all my favorites (those I've met, and those who are just invisible friends), leaves me insanely jealous. Digging Stan's "porn-star 'stache", Amy vamping it up, and a never-before-seen pic of the infamous Zita. Susan and Andy, Anne/Fiona, you've got them all.

And what post is incomplete w/o CD and Deb? Sounds like a blast! See you in the spring. XOX

  25. Miss T it was so much fun I can't believe it. Your photos are all ways the best, I might steal some if you don't mind. I still can't get over how funny Cruz was and how much me laughed. Next time I'm bringing Crockers......and tell him I hope he is not boring Love you, Lauri@chippys

  26. Oh my gosh, it's so great to finally have met everyone in person! It's funny though - you can't tell from the photo that we all had sweat dripping off us. =) Thank goodness for your husband letting us stand in front of his fan.

Thank you for all the work you put into the party! Steve and I were so blessed that we had the opportunity to be there.

    Blessings... Polly
