You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet

I can't believe how fast the time just seemed to fly while at the shows.  I kept looking back at my pictures last night and thinking about all the awesome displays and things that were there.  Someone, someday, just has to do a book totally on the Round Top/Warrenton Antique Shows, it would be a big book, full of inspiration.  A friend of mine keeps trying to convince me I'm the one that needs to put the book together, who knows, maybe one day.

In the meantime, I want to take you to the Clutter Antique Show that always opens the first Friday of the shows.  It's a huge event.  They do not open their doors until that Friday at 4:00pm and there are always a crowd waiting to get in.  The anticipation of their displays is worth the wait.  This is one show that I never miss.  I just close up my tent and head down to it.  I can't say that I've ever bought much here, but the inspiration is so worth going and...you can sit and visit with friends and have a snack and drink once you've been through it. I think this is probably the best part of going.

Here's what caught my eye:

I know you want to see more of Clutter, so click here.  Ok, now tell me what you think?  There is so much more inspirational things to see, so please keep checking back, you ain't seen nothing yet!

  3. You probably saw my friend Susan Wheeler at Marburger, too! The Clutter show sounds fun. I'm really going to try to go next spring, as Sept is out of the question for me! Do the book. That's my 2 cents worth.

  4. You know I don't get to leave my tent much at the start of the show, so I depend on you and others to show me what I'm missing. Thanks!
