Let me just start out telling you it was literally a "hot time" at the Antique Company Mall today. I think I picked the hottest day of the year to move into a shop. Not only did the mercury read 111 degrees, yes you read it right, but after having SOLD several items already my first day and that was not even being completely set up yet, well it was a good day despite the heat.
I don't know if I would have made it had it not been for Nancy's help. She was just such a sweetie to step right in and unpack and help me just when I needed it.
I want to start out showing you my space:
I papered the walls, see I told you it wouldn't look the same. I didn't think I would have much time to paint today, maybe that'll be another day's project.
Here's more of my new home in the mall:
Here's the before picture:
And here's the after:
Sold signs are a good thing, especially on my first day.
This last photo shows a vintage shade that I repurposed with maps:
I'll share more about this in another post. You can click on any of the pictures to see more of my space.
I also had to share a picture of Nancy's booth with you:
She finds the best things. You can see more of her booth on her blog.
And, then I wanted to show you this Nancy's booth (no, it's a different Nancy), but she doesn't have a blog:
She does have great things too.
I really enjoyed meeting all the new faces in the shop. Hope you all had a great weekend.
Your Booth looks great! And what a great first day! Glad you didn't get heat stroke--my goodness! Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteIt's a little different look for you...I like it alot!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it hotter that whodathoughtit? I worked on the window at W&T's and I do believe I lost at least 5 lbs. in sweat...I mean glistening!
Debbie
P.S SOLD signs are...to quote Martha...a really good thing!
I was thrilled to help out and was quite impressed how easy you made it all look. We are all happy to have you be a part of the Antique Company Mall!
