Gardens, Guns, Hunting, & Cabins

I hope the title got your interest!  So what do gardens, guns, hunting, restoring a cabin and the 50 of the best southern bars (not really my kind of article) and Rachel Ashwell all have in common?  These are all topics listed in a new magazine, Gardens & Guns. 

The name can be deceiving.  You would think this is a guy magazine.  Maybe Farmer's Almanac meets The Wild West sort of.  At least that's the vision I had when Donna introduced this magazine.  You definately got my attention by her post. 

Then I checked out the website and wow there are so many great ideas here.  I mean they've included a gorgeous cabin being restored, Lyle Lovett music (who by the way is kin to my dad's cousin and even though we aren't related it still makes for a fun story since I could see Lyle's house from our cousin's house), great recipes, and Rachel Ashwell all combined into one.


Well it makes you want to go out and find this magazine just to see what it's all about.  But until I do find it, I'll check out their website for great ideas.

    That is such a fun "redneck" title that it does make you wonder but without evening checking the website, I love the cabin picture you posted. I'm a sucker for magazines so I might be enticed to buy!
