Architectural Finds

When we head out looking for treasures we just never know what we are going to find.  And I guess that's the best part of it.  When I saw the tall Architectual door frame I just loved it.  The best part of it was the story behind it.  It had come out of a Baptist church that had been recently torn down.  Love that at least this was saved but I could only imagine what else was not saved.

It is really tall and would look great in any place it would go. I could see it framing a garden house or being the centerpiece in a home.  The possiblities are endless.  It is for sale and you can find it in Houston at Urban Market on May 19.

Along with several pairs of shutters and a porch rail, I found frames, a great pair of sconces, concrete items, and the prettiest bed I've seen in a while. Just take a look:

I do have the footboard and rails to the bed.

These sconces are really pretty and just look at the prisms.  If you see anything you are interested in you can leave me a comment or send me an email.

Hope you have a great weekend and don't forget to watch The Junk Gypsies tomorrow on HGTV.

I almost forgot to share my news with you.  Starting in June, you can find me at The Fredericksburg Trade Days.  I'm so excited at the opportunity to be selling here.  Hope you come out and find us here.
