(there were a few more things I wanted to mention about her that I had previously left out)
I loved you the moment my eyes saw you.
I loved you the moment my eyes saw you.
I carried you on my hip like a sack of flour,
you were full of energy
and crawled on both legs and hands,
you reminded me of a little spider.
You loved all things old
as I naturally did.
I tried to teach you to crochet and macrame,
but that wasn't your calling.
I made your baby's first quilts and wanted to teach you,
but you wanted to buy the old one's instead.
You stared at my old things for hours.
Many treasures that were mine are now yours.
You took up my love of gardening and
finding garden items
You loved my apple cake and
homemade tortillas

At the end I didn't want to let you go,
I held on tight to your neck just like I did when you were little.
I said I love you with some of my very last breaths.
She was an angel,
I loved you back!!
She naturally had one child but adopted and raised 6 more children, including my mother. She didn't treat them any different from her own and loved each and every one of them as if they were hers.

Theresa, as I said on Facebook, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
