Ann's Magical Christmas

Each season Ann Perry of The Tin Rabbit Antiques in Melrose Texas puts on a Chrismas Open House.  To say that this year it was just magical would be an understatement.  She is so talented and I'm not sure she realizes just how talented she is.  You tell her how beautiful everything looks and she so humbly says oh I don't know, do you think so, or something like this.  She truly is also one of the kindest and most thoughtful person's I know.  I always leave her place feeling like my soul has been refreshed.  That's the only way I know how to describe how she makes you feel.  Of course she always tucks in a little something special, but that's just how she is.  Just like her mother told me this time, she'd give you the shirt off her back if you asked for it.

I took many pictures of her home and shop.  I've spent several days editing them and I still have a ways to go, but I wanted to go ahead and show a few pics so that you can possibly see the beauty that I saw this past Saturday.  I should have taken a picture of the crowds that showed up and the awesome food she had, but I think I was too busy visiting with her mother, what a jewel she is too!

Here's just a few that were my favorites.

I could spend hours at Ann's place.  I'm not sure why the pictures are messing up and not showing up on the blog.  For more inspiration of her place, click HERE.

I'll have more to show you soon I promise. Hope you enjoyed the tour of Ann's place.  I wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't do another post before then.

  2. Theresa,
Thank you so much for sharing these. You said it so well in the post. Ann is a gentle soul. Her heart is so tender, I just want to protect her from the big scary world:) Such a talent. And yes, she has no idea. I literally cried when I walked into her home when I went. I'd love to see what you brought home. Like Carola I miss her flickr inspiration.
