An Uncommon Guy

I congratulated Don Weir on making the latest issue of the Country Home magazine and he was so gracious to send pictures from around his home and space in Uncommon Objects Antiques Shop in Austin. Don is featured in the "Look What I Found" section of the June Country Home issue.

His vignettes are just awesome, so creatively put together. Check out his space next time you're are in Uncommon Objects, or at the Marburger Farms Antiques Show in the Spring and Fall, and he sells occasionally at the City Wide Garage Sale in Austin.

The old cash register without the top is just pure art!!

Congratulations Don!!

  1. It's amazing how, with so little color, the objects carry themselves and each other into something so stunning and interesting. Not only a fantastic eye for objects but for placement. The touch of blue, the sharp red background and all the neutral colors of the old objects is just wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
