Fun Day in the Sun!!

Today my friend Marion and I headed out for a fun day. Our first stop was at the Canton Texas Flea Market. We knew it was going to be a hot day and we probably wouldn't stay very long. Besides the first thing we noticed was that there weren't many vendors set up outside. The Texas heat normally keeps them away this time of year since so many of them travel from the North.

We stopped in the Arbors to say hello to Linda:

And Judy:

We also had to stop and say hello to Lillie and Margaret.

All of their spaces looked awesome as usual!

We then headed on to Malakoff Texas for the Curious Goods sale. Their new location is just perfect. We so enjoyed visiting with the Curious Goods girls, Rhonda, Donna, and Randy. If you didn't get to make it out to this show yesterday or today, you still have a few days left to stop by.

Our last stop was in Corsicana at the Collin Street Bakery. What a great place to stop and eat. Did I mention it was such a hot day that we enjoyed sitting in the cool building and enjoying our lunch.

We had so much fun shopping, visiting, and eating. Here are my Canton and Curious Goods finds. Do you see a color scheme going here:

I wanted to thank Marion for my lovely July 4th gift and to wish everyone a Happy 4th!!

  2. Texas flea markets are so great! I wouldn't like the heat (I'm a Northern girl) but I would love the markets. If I ever get to Texas you would be the first person I would look up and we would hit the road for fleas.
