I wanted to welcome Denise to the blogging world. She's a very talented artist and painter and has taken the plunge in the blogging world. Check out her blog and give her a big Texas welcome. She's located in one of the prettest places in Texas, the Hill Country:
Hi Theresa,
ReplyDeleteThank you so, so much for the warm welcome...your generosity and encouragement has been the biggest reason why I jumped in to this awesome community of Bloggers.
I never thought I had enough to really share, but found the joys of others hobbies and crafting a big part of why I started to Blog. In this case, a Sorority or network of new friends around the country and even the world, becomes the nicest result of Blogging
I have learned a lot from you and as you mentioned, it is "very addicting". Thankfully, I don't have to worry about putting on those extra calories like cookies do.
Denise
Hi! I'm kind of new to the blogging world, but I wanted to tell you how much I love your blog and that I read it regularly. I sent you an email that says the same until dorky me figured out I was making the commenting more complicated than necessary (distracted by HGTV, a dog and a 5-year-old, I guess!). I came across your page when I Googled my favorite (now under new ownership) shop The Seedbox in Ozark, Missouri near where I live to see where Meloney and Bryan had gone and they showed up in your blog. I shopped with them regularly in Ozark, Missouri, but now I bet you get to see them more than I do at all the wonderful shows I read about on your blog. I just love looking over all your pictures and I am so jealous of all the awesome antiquing you get to do regularly. I have to make it to Texas ASAP! I started my own blog a while ago, and it has turned out to be a lot more about motherhood/life than I planned, but I have a lot about decorating, too. I'd love for you to check it out. Like I told your friend Denise on her blog, I am not an artist or dealer or anything fabulous like that, just an English teacher and mom who loves to junk and flea market and look at lovely houses and things. I think you and I might be kindred spirits in the real world, though. Thanks for the inspiration!
