Wouldn't you know it, with all the excitement of friends and going to other shows, parties, laughing with the best of the best, I didn't take very many pics of my space. I worked in my booth several nights until midnight starting on Wednesday night and I guess by the time I rolled down to Renee's field I was just exhausted. I almost just made a pallet in my space (for those that didn't grow up hearing this term, this is what was made after going to the Baptist Church on Sunday and then when there were a lot of kids pallets or blankets folded several times were made on the floor for them to sleep on while the adults talked). Just brought back memories of my childhood. Sorry to get side tracked, anyways, here are the pics of what I did take of my space:
Stay tuned for more awesome displays. Oh by the way, before I forget to tell you who the celebrity was at Warrenton, in case you didn't figure it out that would have been Ms. Lulu Redstar. She made the Show Daily News, which is a show magazine that lists all the shows and events. Yes, we had a book signing event which was a huge success (just kidding) and I am now officially her agent. If you would like to schedule a book signing tour in your town, please contact me. However, she's pretty booked until the next Spring Show, which will happen at Zapp Hall with yes both Chippy's selling their awesome finds there. In the meantime, here she is dancing the night away:
Love your booth! Can't wait to see more of the fun!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen it is true, table top dancing was outlawed after these pictures were taken last Spring. And even though lulu pleaded with the law enforcement officer to let her dance on the table he still said no. So she dance all over the cowfields in Texas.....Thanks T for the plug, you know we can't wait to make a pallet with you!!!!More later, Lauri @ chippys

Hey Theresa!!! I haven't heard "pallet" since Mama (from Alabama, originally) used it last... No one in Oregon says it, so it was fun to see it in print. Your booth at Zapp looks like it must have been INCREDIBLE! Nothing like making us DROOL when we can't get to all the beautiful things... maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, your vignettes are just wonderful. Know you must have had great sales!

Love your booth! I, like Debbie, slept on many a Baptist pallets, growing up. I had some young ones around Saturday and I used the word "kinfolk". They were confounded. Boy, am I feeling old and country! ~Mindy

Hope you had as much fun as I did. The area around Zapp Hall was amazing. Your booth added to the experience. It was fun to meet the bloggers I am so far behind in this stuff.
ReplyDeleteFinally getting to look at my friends blogs. Your booth looked amazing. Why can't I be quicker at decorating? Then I could come down to see you. I was at Zapp one morning very early, alas, you was sleepin'. I'm hitting you in the Spring. Oh, I will get to see in January!!! Yea!! kisses and blessings. Peg
