A Gathering of Things

One of our favorite shops near Austin has got to be Gatherings in Georgetown Texas. We stopped at this shop last Saturday as we were headed to Austin to spend the weekend with our son. We couldn't resist stopping here and taking a few pictures, at my friends request of course. Stephanie and Cathy always find the coolest things and display them so pretty:

Loved this display.

I saw a lot of cute things I really wanted...hint hint Santa!

All shades of white just seems to always work together.

And, anything looks good in a jar.

Or under a globe on a birdbath base.

These displays are near the front of the door and are changed periodically.

You know you can hang lots of things on bed springs. I've even seen them hanging upside down.

Lots and lots of things to choose from.

Here's my treasure I found. I just couldn't pass up this cute little guy with his dog:

The next time you are in Georgetown, stop by and check out this shop at 1009 S. Austin Ave.

  1. What a sweet shop! I hope Santa heard your hinting. I see several things I'd like under my tree, too. I think some of these stores should do a NW tour , maybe come up with Willow Nest this summer when they do BarnHouse? :0) Have a Merry Christmas , Sue

  10. Theresa,
I love everything and thank you for the tour but when I saw that last picture of that little boy and his dog, I was so relieved to hear it's got a good home with you. How happy that little boy and his dog would be ;)

  11. Stephanie and Cathy are the sweetest girls, I realize they are from the west, but they both just ooze with southern charm! I am so happy to see their shop! They are the first two girls that run in my booth at Marburger on opening day! I would love to see their shop with my own two eyes. Think I need to plan a month long shopping trip of Texas!
