Texas Weather

After living in Texas all my life, the weather should never surprise me. All in the same week, I've experienced heat (getting a sun burn), wind, rain and sleet (yes it happened April 2007 during the Antique Show week). This morning I knew it was going to be a cold day, but by this evening I would have never thought it would be snowing. We haven't seen snow in our part of Texas in a really long time, many years. It was really pretty as it coming down. Here's what my truck looked like just as the snow was falling:

Who knows maybe we'll have actually have a white Christmas! But then again it's Texas and we may be back in shorts by then!

I received my pampered package yesterday, and I used some of the cranberry pear lotion this morning. I smell so good! Thank you so much for the gift!!!

  5. Half of us Texans pray for heat, half pray for rain, and half pray for snow (yes, I know that's 150% but that's the way it seems to be divided). But as we say, just wait an hour and our weather will probably be totally different!

The Texas Woman, praying for heat!
