Please pray for Doug

Renee emailed this morning that Doug (he's pictured in the orange shirt) just found out he has cancer of the tongue. He's currently being treated in a Houston hospital. I don't have much details but if you'd like to contact Renee, I have her email, just let me know. He's always been so funny anytime I've seen him and he's just a great guy. Doug is Renee's business partner and has always been there to help her set up at Bar W. You may have seen him when at the shows. So, please keep him in your prayers.

  6. Thanks Theresa for letting us know. I just talked to Renee about a week ago when she called me out of the blue one day at my shop...she said that Doug wasn't feeling well, but I had no idea. If you get a minute can you please email me her phone number.
    Thanks

  10. Thanks to all of the wonderful bloggers, that have given positive vibes via the net and the phone, we are keeping a good attitude for recovery, Doug has had a round with tonsil cancer, 7 years ago, the bad part is no radiation treatment for return offenders, He is looking at radical surgery, he never smoked or dipped. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts.

  12. Theresa, my husband had a stage 4 tongue cancer; we spent months down in Houston at M.D. Anderson and it has been 8 years since they saved his life. Tell Renee, she can contact me or my husband any time - day or night.
