Industrial meets Cottage

TOT and I headed out for some serious shopping and hit the roads full blast for a Texas whirlwind road trip. We had a great time and only got lost a few times (well okay more than a few times), but we laughed and found some really great things. Her box truck was full of Texas treasures.

Our first stop of the day on Thursday morning was at Judy Hill's Open House. I know that words just can't explain how awesome her displays were, nor can pictures show her creativity, this is one show you would have to have seen it literally in person. Check it out:


This was on her back porch. Cool industrial pieces filled with great food.


Check out this industrial table with swivel stools. This would look great in any home. Look closely, the chargers were metal dust pans. Only Judy can come up with this idea!


The wicker table display was off from her kitchen.


Not only did the table look great, but the twig chandelier with birds was so cleaver and pretty.


I always love what she does with birdcages and this one was just as awesome as any I've seen.


More great ideas as you go through her home. So much to take in. No wonder it takes many trips through to see it all.

    Teresa, thank you so much for the affirmation. It really blessed me. I know blogging will be a life-changer for me. Would love to be closer to Texas...although we did live there about 28 years ago. Our younger daughter was born while we lived in San Antonio. Alas, I didn't get to travel much at the time.pooh.

    My new favorite look is the "mix" of country, cottage with the industrial look. I want to change out my chairs on my own farm table to industrial ones! I starting to see a lot of that in our store as well. Great photos, thanks for posting them.
