Not even the weather could keep us from heading out to the Canton Texas Flea Market this morning. Yes it was cold and raining and no there weren't many other crazy people out as ourselves and even most of the outside vendors closed up shop, but we still had a good time and found a few things. We would have went yesterday but the weather man said it was raining and we thought today would be a better day to go, less rain and all, yea right. The vendors said it rained more today than yesterday.
We mainly shopped in the buildings, so I wanted to show you who all you can find at Canton, in case you're brave enough to head out there tomorrow or Sunday. We first stopped at the Civic Center on the Canton grounds. This was Maggie of The Veranda's booth:
Loved the Dr Pepper sign.
Another view of her booth.
Next is Lillie of The Junk Palace:
The umbrella and chandeliar were so cute! Lillie can be found in Winnie & Tulula's in Athens too.
She was ready for Valentine's Day. She made some really cute ones.
This is Ethel's booth:
Loved the buggy wheels she had in this display.
More white things in Ethel's booth. Ethel is located in the Winnie & Tulula shop and she has her own shop in Tyler Tx.
Next we headed to the Arbor's. I always love seeing Carolyn Westbrook's pretty things:
More of Carolyn's displays.
Finally we stopped at Troy and Rod's booth of The Junk Exchange:
This is one of the chairs they slipcovered that you may have seen on their blog.
There's more shopping places that we went to, so check back tomorrow to see who else we saw.
Yep it is cold. Not sure I'll make it this month, especially since you said vendors had closed up. Glad you had a good time.

Wow...you guys are TRUE Junkers! I had plans to go to Canton Thursday and bailed when I heard the weather forecasts. I am hoping next month will be better...they have had rough weather the last few months. Glad you found some stuff.

We did a drive by Weds. I was amazed at how few vendors were set up. Needless to say, I didn't find anything. Cat Daddy went Sunday and bought a couple of things.
ReplyDeleteYea for sold tags!
