Absolute Beauty at Laurie Anna's

Everytime I have stopped by Laurie Anna's Vintage Home in Canton Tx and seen all her beautiful displays and things she has for sale, I just don't want to leave.  I could work and be surrounded in this beauty all day, what a job to have.  Laurie was busily working behind the counter when I stopped in yesterday and her crew was trying to eat lunch among all the people coming in and out of the shop.  You just have to walk a few feet, stop, and just stare at all the beautiful displays and things that are for sale there.  If  you hurry through her shop you are going to miss seeing something.  So, tell me what you think:

See, I told you how gorgeous her shop is.  Now, don't you want to visit.  I was so excited to have won her drawing last week and it was so hard making up my mind what I wanted, but I finally decided on this cute mercury light (the one in the middle) I had been eyeing for months there.  I know exactly where I'm going to put it and if I don't like it over the sink then I'll just find another spot for it.  It's so versatile, it could go anywhere:

Be sure and make time to visit Laurie's shop the next time you are at the Canton Texas Flea Market.  Remember she's only open during Canton week.

I also meant to mention during yesterday's post that I so enjoyed visiting with Mo.  We were leaving and she was just starting to look for treasures.  You can find Mo of Rubbish next month at Marburger.  I also saw Nancy of Ella Elaine, on her hands and knees!  No she wasn't begging for treasures, but I bet if that's what it took to get a good deal, I'd even do that, ha ha.  She was searching low for that special treasure.  And, finally, seeing my buds Mickie and Brandy was too funny since I almost ran over them.  No kidding.  We had driven in to get our load and I was driving around the corner when there they were, stopped in their tracks, watching to see what direction I was going.  You know I'm making this up right, I didn't almost run over them, but it did make a good story.  Don't forget they are having their first Accumulations ~ Hill Country Home and Garden Fair in about a week and half, on March 10th (4-9pm) and March 11th (10-4pm) in the beautiful town of Driftwood Texas.  I'll do a post on their sale pretty soon.  You don't want to miss coming out to this event, there are some exceptional vendors that will be here.  Some of my favorite ones are setting up at this show.  And, finally, you know what's around the corner, right?  Round Top/Warrenton Texas Antique Week ~ keep watching my countdowns for more news on this most fun event!!

I'm going to do a separate post on my junkin road treasures that we found.  Happy Weekend to you all.

  20. You are so funny! Next time I am digging for bargains I'll make sure my backside is covered. It was good to see you and I am sooo happy YOU were the one to snatch that great cubby cabinet before me. I know it will be treated well... I hope your tooth is doing better.
