I hadn't been to Gatherings Antique Shop in Georgetown Texas in what seemed forever, so since we were in the neighborhood, we headed that direction. There's always things changing here. It never remains the same despite that I hadn't been there probably in almost a year. This is a good thing because had I gone back and things were the same, that wouldn't have been a good sign. But in Gatherings you'll never know what you will find or what display will catch your eye. I never know which direction to go, whether to the left or right, so I just go toward whatever is calling to me.
Of course when you enter the store, it all catches your eye, especially with the unusual tree that was at the front:
Now look at this cute display with shoes:
What a pretty chair:
Look at this awning, y'all know how I love these things:
I loved this, want to know what it was:
An old copier. The writing on it was the best part and it weighed a ton.
This display in the back of the shop was interesting. She had lots of great things:
Her booth was the one that had the awning.
I took so many pictures of the shop, click here to see more. They now have started a shop blog, so please be sure to visit them on their new blog and I'm sure if you see something that catches your eye you might contact them to see if it's still available. Happy Tuesday to you all!
What an amazing place! Such wonderful antiques and beautiful works of art!

ReplyDeleteThanks for sneak peeks... I love getting the VIP treatment! *wink* Thanks for stopping by my Roulotte Post... yes, those of us with Gypsy blood in our veins often have a somewhat similar style and sensibility so there will definitely be similarities in how we feather our nests... whether mobile nests or those with a foundation! *smiles* I'm going to try to obtain all of Jeanne Bayol's books and learn more French.
