Carol Hicks Bolton - Marburger Farms

Each time I've adventured out to see the awesome displays at the Marburger Farms Antique Show is always exciting.  You just never know what you will see or whose booth you will find.  Well during this past Spring show, I had heard that Carol Hicks Bolton was going to have a booth there, I couldn't wait to find it.  I can't say enough how much I love her style, it's just timeless and fresh, even after all the years that I've known about her.

I won't add very many words to this post, I'll just let the pictures do the talking.  Then when you are through being in awe at her displays, let me know which one was your favorite.  And if you get the chance to visit her shop in Fredericksburg Texas...once you arrive, run don't walk!

Only she could make a tree with roots look beautiful:

One more thing, she is just as sweet and genuine as I had always heard she was:

If you are looking for something to do this weekend, there's the Trade Days in Fredericksburg Tx or the City Wide Garage Sale, Austin Tx is also on Saturday.  I'll be showing more of Marburger so stay tuned!  Hope you have a great weekend.

  2. Great photos!!!
I got to spend some time in their space before opening day, and they were working like mad to get everything set up. I see that it turned out beautifully!

Hey, am I going to see you at Country Living in Austin?

  3. I'm always amazed when they create "walls" in their spaces - they do such a great job that it's strange to see the grass in some of the photos!

  5. I'm in love with all the posts from the shows. We rarely have anything like these here where I live in South Florida, so I have to live vicariously. Thanks for helping me do so!

  6. Great post and blog about Carol Hicks Bolton and it's hard to pick just one vignette but I'm especially drawn to your first photo (probably because I love old dress forms). I had the privilege of Carol and her husband visit our cottage at Trade Days this past weekend. They are so sweet.
