June 1, 19xx

Today is my husband's birthday. I blocked out the actual year because I'm not so sure he'd want me to print that; well, it's probably not a big deal with him, maybe it's more of a big deal with women. I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and it was no surprise when he said he really wanted to go to Canton. So, off we went early on Saturday morning. It started out to be a nice day there, but of course it didn't take long for the heat to set in.

Here's Linda, Ludmil and my husband:

They had thought about playing outside for all the shoppers, but they quickly changed their minds since it was so hot! The Texas cowboys:

I liked Linda's display of globes:

Since we did not stay long in Canton, we visited the grounds for some great finds and we had to stop and see Judy's space. Her open house is on Thursday (see my previous post on her open house). I'm sure it will be over the top as usual:

Here's what I found in Canton:

Columns, an aquarium, ironstone, wreath stands, 2 lights, 4 old grates, a frame and 2 shades that were used in early 1900's automobiles (did you notice Judy had a similar shade she attached to the cabinet). Happy Sunday, T

  6. Nice Score Theresa! Of course the best score was hubby...any girl who can snag a man that wants to go browse the antiques in Canton for his B-day is one lucky girl. My hubby would have dragged me to a car show!
