Maison De Couture

Today as I've prepared for the upcoming storm, I've tried to keep my mind focused on other things such as my upcoming show, decorating, redoing, so that I don't think about the uncertainty for what lies ahead early tomorrow morning.

As I had a minute to sit and try and relax, I was flipping through an old issue of BH&G and I came across an article, "Cottage Confection". It showed an outdoor cottage all decorated for the holidays. While I know that Christmas seems so far away, it just really inspired me. The designer, Laura McGuire is located in Dallas and she changes out her cottage for the seasons, holidays and special events. Check out her website, click on the door and it'll take you there:

This is the article she was in BH&G:

Here are more of her inspiring designs:

Please keep us all in your prayers that the storm is forecasted to pass by.

  2. Please keep us in your prayers. The eye of Huricane Ike is headed directly over our farm. We expect a few rough days with all of our animals. I will try and keep the blog updated as best as I can.
