Relaxing Spot

I think it's important for us to have down time, time to relax, refresh, and recharge ourselves. Sometimes this is really hard for me because I'm on constant auto pilot. Well, yesterday when I went to Georgetown Tx to pick up the awnings I had bought at Gatherings, I didn't have any idea what I would do with them and they are still a work in progress for my little Garden House that hopefully will come together soon. I've had this idea for wanting a "play house" Garden House, a place to go and spend time just for me and hopefully my husband will finish it soon. This morning it was cool and so breezy at my place that the more I thought about the awnings the more I thought why not put them some place for me to enjoy them now and then as my Garden House comes together they can always be moved. I'm really loving the space I created today. I'm going to go get some green tea, my new Victoria Magazine that Ms. Stephanie gave me (thanks Step) and just enjoy the day for awhile. Won't you join me...

A view of the smaller awning and this is my new relaxing spot.

Here's the larger awning I bought. I just love it.

Another view of the front smaller awning.

Check out my blog shop for items that I bought yesterday, it's all for sale.

Hope you have a great Sunday, Theresa

I just posted about an old Victoria magazine. I took a stack of them outside with me today. Great minds think alike don't they?

  7. Hi Theresa. From your posts of the shows in Texas, I know you love Brian and Meloney of The Seedbox as much as I do. I live very near them and got to go to the Spring Open House at their farm this past weekend. I posted tons of pictures on my blog if you'd like to see where they live. It's a beautiful and inspiring place and my friend and I shopped 'til we dropped there. I like your relaxing spot and really enjoy reading your blog.
