Uncommon is the Norm

Uncommon Objects Antiques in Austin Tx carries some of the most unusual items I've seen in any one shop. You know I can literally spend hours here. I'm intrigued by their displays, by the things they carry and by the creativity that's in this one shop. It starts outside, as you walk up to the shop with their display windows. I've always said all along that it's the display windows that pull you into a shop, at least for me it does. Then, as you walk in, you are greeted by the staff, who make you feel welcome to be here. Once you enter, you aren't sure whether to turn to the left or right side or just start at the windows. There is so much to see and you don't want to miss any of it. I usually have to go back several times because my eye will always miss something but catch it the next time around. Well you judge for yourself, tell me what you think:

For those that miss Linda Parker no longer being at Marburger, here's photo's of her fabulous booth. You can find her here or at Austin City Wide.

More Linda Parker.

Great displays.

I love all the things Jeanette has in her booth.
