Life

Hello all. I know that today is White Wednesday and normally I would be so thrilled to show you something white, but today I'm sort of burdened.

I had some blood work done today and while I know that God will take care of any situation I may have, I then read one of my fav blogs and realized that what I may be going through is nothing compared to Toe's situation. He's lost his job and while that is probably such a heavy burden to carry, I want him to know he's not alone.

Another friend of mine who I've featured her many times, her husband too had been laid off after many years with the company. And, then another friend has been out of work since last October, thankfully he went back to work this week, but that's a long time to be without a job.

What do you do if this happens? I know we've been there a time or two in years past and you just pray and start looking for more work. Easier said than done sometimes especially with the economy, but God isn't moved by the economy or any other negative situation. Please pray for all mentioned as I now in times like this we so just want to know someone is praying with us.

  1. T,
First let me say that I am praying for your health. Our God is an amazing God and we all know He answers prayers. As far as you friends, I so understand, my son-in-law has been out of work since Jan with nothing absolutely nothing in the works. He is a college grad, speaks five languages, smart, good looking. It is so very tough out there. I will certainly add your friend to my prayers also. Please take care of yourself, Theresa

  4. Thank you for sharing yoru burden and your fellow blog friends with us, your blog readers. I can think of no better way to send a bit of your pain and concerns out to all of us and hopefully making it smaller and more managable for you. My mother always used to say that no matter what we are handed, there is always some else with a weighter issue. No that you are in my prayers and I ask that you be given wisdom and strength to face whatever comes yhour way. Sea Witch

  5. I think you're doing the most important thing. Your picture shows that. God is first, and when we put him before everything else He obliges Himself to work on our behalf. I'll be praying for you Theresa...Protection, healing, strength, peace, and guidance.

  12. As one who has been on the receiving end of this fabulous group of prayer warriors, there is nothing impossible for God. The hardest part is laying it at His feet and letting go. He is in control and will watch over us all.

  14. T:
I hope all is well with you, and your blood work comes back with some relief for you. You are so sweet to be burdened by the troubles of others. We need to remember, that many times all we can do is show our support and pray. My motto recently has been to "control what I can, and pray about the rest". That is... Basically pray about everything, as we can truly control very little.
    peace my sister,
