Hello 2010

Hello all!  I hope you had a wonderful New Years Eve night and New Years Day.  I've so missed catching up with you.  What a bummer it is not to be able to blog, you all know how much I love to.  While my computer probably will not be fixed for awhile, I'm sure I'll find a way to still continue to blog.  Today I'm blogging from my son's place, see you ugly virus you can't keep me down

We had a great New Years Eve, no one was there, just the two of us.  That's a difference from how it usually is.  Actually, my other half was already asleep by 10:30 and I lay awake listening to the fire works going off.  My husband was probably tired from driving over half the state of Texas, or so it seemed I'm sure.

Yesterday we were in Canton, we saw Maggie and Lillie in the Civic Center and saw Rod in the Arbors (Troy wasn't able to make it--hope you are feeling better today Troy).  I was able to find a few things on the grounds even though there were not many vendors set up in the cold.  I did find several more things from Rod.  Then, we stopped in at Laurie Anna's.  I didn't think she'd be in after having been in the Hospital, but wanted you to know Laurie I was in checking on you!  Hope you  too are better.  From Canton, we headed to Dallas for a stop off at Curiosities.  What a shop, it so reminds me of Uncommon Objects.  We finished the afternoon by seeing a few of our friends in Dallas.

Tomorrow, we are headed to the City Wide Garage Sale.  I saw where Linda and Ludmil will be there as will Peg and John and so many more great vendors.

While I'm usually not good at making and keeping resolutions, it's been fun reading what all you had to say.  I just want to wish everyone blessings, health, and hopefully wealth in the upcoming New Year.

Here's to 2010, the new possibilities that the year will bring and new beginnings!

  2. Too funny, I always use my son's laptop when my computer goes down because I feel like I'm cut off from the world. lol
Oh, I so wanted to go to Canton this weekend, but was afraid there wouldn't be a big turn out since it was chilly and a holiday weekend. Hope your 2010 is wonderful too.

  4. Hi Theresa,
    We went to Canton too...brrrrr!
Alas, we bought two goats and a large cow...................rugs.
I probably walked right past you several times... I was the one with very red cheeks from the cold...underdressed...and limping from frozen toes. LOL.

Wishing you a wonderful New Year as well.
