The Spring Blog Party

Each season when I plan the Blog Party, my main goal is to make sure everyone is having a good time and eating and drinking while visiting with those that attend.  I didn't get around to taking a picture of the food, but there was guacamole, lobster dip, corn dip, cheese and crackers and wine and drinks.  The food didn't last long and Carol's cheesecake that I order each time was a big hit too.  I always feel that I missed speaking to someone or somehow missed taking pics of someone and if I did I sincerely apologize.  This time was a bit hectic but it was still so much fun for me.  I hope to share more news about the party really soon so you'll understand why it was a more hectic than usual.

I felt so honored to have Jo Packham and Gina Galvin there signing books and all of you that attended, now that was a great honor as well.  Ever since Heather started the very first Blog Party back in April 2008 at Zapp Hall, it has most definately continued to grow, thanks again Heather and so glad you were able to attend this year!

There were several people that I want really want to thank first.  First up, thanks to Carol for coming and making such wonderful petit fours at the party.  Also, to Robelyn for donating one of her beatiful works of art purses, which Theresa (affectionally known as TOT) won the blog ribbon contest, you can see her ribbon below.  Also, thanks to Polly of Counting Your Blessings for donating goody bags for the party even though she wasn't able to attend and to Veronica of Texas Live Magazine for taking pictures.

Let me start out by showing you the pictures that Rebecca took because she captured some really great ones:

Here's Gina:

Jo with TOT, Shelley and Laurie:
Check out Theresa's blog ribbon and she received the most votes to win Robelyn's purse and my prize as well, which was an Easter basket filled with goodies and a $25 certificate.

There's Gwen talking to Heather and me in the background giving out goody bags:

There's Lois of Callie Magee Antiques (check out her blog on my side bar):

Girls (Angelique, TOT, & Laurie) just having fun:

OMG, this had to be my fav pic, Renee of A Junk Queen doing what she does best, laughing:

There's Andy and Susan of Found Around with Doug:

Sorry that the sun shadowed the pic, but you can still see our famous Cat Daddy and crew:

Here they are again, this one is better, there's Renee of A Junk Queen, Laura of White Spray Paint, Val of The Red Shed, Ms. Trash (as my husband calls her), CD, and Michelle of The Red Shed:

Don't you love this, Deb's button:

There's Carol and Gwen with Jan:

Amy always looks so pretty:

Gina and I, she always looks so cute:

Another fun picture with Laurie, Shelley, TOT, Gail, sorry don't remember her name by Gail, Marla (Matilda's mom), and Heather:

Now this picture was taken after the blog party had closed down and Janet was finally able to make it, we were having way too much fun, can you see Gwen in the background and yes we were all laughing probably because she talked me into selling my coral, which as TOT puts it I would never sell:

Now check out all the goodies that Polly and the girls of The French Cupboard sent:

Want to see more, click here.  I hope if you were there you had a great time!  And, if you weren't able to attend that you will make plans for the Fall Party.  I already have a great person lined up to sign her new book that will debut for the shows!  See you at the next party.
