Finding Things

I was beginning to wonder if this weekend was going to be a wash for finding things for my upcoming shows because as of Saturday I hadn't found very much.  I knew I was really low on merchandise and with the big shows coming up felt I needed to find things.  After all we are about a month out from the shows starting.  Less than that for us for setting up there.

Anyways, Saturday we hit the roads very early.  Our first stop was at a town where there was several sales going on, found nothing, and kept going.  We hit four towns (in Texas that's a major ordeal as we drove about 3 hours to get to them all) and still found very little.

Then, a sweet friend called me on Saturday and told me about a sale that several friends were having and OMG was it a sale.  I should have just stayed home on Saturday and just spent my time and gas on Sunday.

Just look at our load:

We found so much we had to leave the bed down.  I found awesome garden things, a pair of columns, garden furniture, a prayer bench/chair, mirrors, birdcage, lounge chair, and just a lot of other things.

Just look at all the awesome things that were here:

Thanks L&F for letting me come and buy such great things with you all!

I know I promised to show you more of Carol Hicks Bolton's shop and Magnolia Pearl's Fashion Show, but my sister and niece were here from Washington state and I spent time with them this past week.  I promise to show you more next week.  Hope you had a great weekend!

  3. If your "finds" are in the back of the truck, youdid very well! Love the mellow mood of white and wood.

  7. What fantastic finds. It's always cool when things gel, just when think nothing is going to come from "the junk hunt"! Congrats. Can't wait to see them at Warrenton.
