I've received several emails lately from those that have started a blog and I wanted to share their sites with you. Please welcome them to Blogland. I can't wait to read about their new adventures. Congrats to all!!
**http://www.patinagreen.typepad.com/ Luann and Kaci--mother/daughter team that I first met in Canton at First Mondays. They are in a shop in McKinney and I hope to one day visit them.
**http://antiquesmoreblog.blogspot.com/ Lisa is in a shop, "A Little Bit Country" which is located at 203 N. Virginia, Port Lavaca Texas. I'm definately going to have to plan a shopping trip here. I've seen many things I already want.
**http://www.whisperingpinecottage.net/ Angie owns a shop, "Whispering Pines Antiques", which is located in Historic Old San Jacinto on RT 66 in Amarillo, Texas. She says her shop is a mix of cabin and cottage style with a few nice French details. Now if that doesn't intice you to go her way I'm not sure what would. Here's another road trip I'm going to have to plan.
**http://www.curiousgoodsantiques.blogspot.com/ Curious Goods, the shop, is located in Malakoff Texas. We have shopped with these girls for awhile now and I'm so excited to see that Donna has started a blog. She also said she's going to do some new things to the shop beginning with the New Year and I can't wait to come and see it all.
**http://moonlighthollow.blogspot.com/ The Moonlight girls, Karen and Malisa, have retired from their day jobs and are starting their antique business. I had bought many many things from Karen over the years and have always loved her style. You can get a preview of their decorating styles here and here.
All this shopping in my neck of the woods and I don't even have to leave Texas--that's why I love this state!!
Texas is the place to be!!Congratulations to all these women who have taken the steps to follow their hearts!

ReplyDeleteHi Theresa,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new blog intros. I will go take a look over my "down time" here. You're so lucky, see that's why I'm trying to talk my hubby into coming and visiting Texas (his home state ;) Anyway, I'll go introduce myself!

A big thanks to you, Teresa! We have made so many friends with our new blog. Thank you for helping us with that! Also, a thank you from me (Malisa) for the attention given to Karen's unbelievable talents! Those of us who know her, know that she is a special, special talent. She has what I call "the eye". We are so excited to be "bidness pardners"...with each of us being able to contribute our individual tastes and talents! Thanks again, Teresa, and thanks to all our new blogging buddies who have supported us during the last six weeks!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to meet you all!

ReplyDeleteAll these places sound great. We have to go in the Spring. Until then I have to live vicariously through you.......Lauri @ chippys
ReplyDeleteSpring is almost here (well, kinda) and you need to be thinking about your blog party at Warrenton. I don't want to miss it this time around so I want plenty of notice so I can get off work and attend. Also I want to bring something to share for refreshments. No reason for you to be out all that expense!
ReplyDeleteI love inviting myself to parties!
